About Ava
Ava Garde was born in Vienna in 1993. Her mother, a biochemist turned science communicator, taught her never to accept a claim unquestioned. Her father taught her something else โ without meaning to.
He died at 58 from a heart attack. Preventable, the doctors said in hindsight. Too much stress, too little sleep, warning signs ignored for too long.
Ava studied systems: nutritional science in Vienna, data science in Amsterdam, science communication in London. She visited longevity research centres around the world โ not as a patient, but as a critical observer. What she found: too many promises, too little evidence. So she became the voice herself.
